Job Requirements
- Holds an Illinois Real Estate license
- Prior experience in commercial real estate brokerage (need to have)
- Desire to work independently and have control over your professional growth
- High level of competency in negotiation and conflict resolution
- Organized; knowledge of client management and deal-tracking tools
- Strong research, qualification, and follow-up skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Professional and personable demeanor
- Comfortable meeting new people and networking to develop a client base
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to meet prospects and clients during business hours and occasional evenings and weekends as needed
- Strong work ethic and high degree of self-discipline
- Entrepreneurial mindset and desire to succeed
- Computer savvy in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), internet research, and social networking sites (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, etc.)
- Bachelor’s degree (nice to have)
Job Tasks

- Have and maintain a fully functioning pipeline of clientele
- Actively conduct business development efforts (canvassing, prospecting, marketing, networking) regarding new business and client assignments
- Participate in twice-monthly brokerage meetings and training and coaching meetings as set by the managing broker or sales manager
- Stay up to date on industry trends, changes in the market, new technologies that enhance the way commercial brokerage is conducted, continually seek to hone skills, and seek ongoing professional development opportunities
- Provide a high level of customer service to all stakeholders
