Caton Valuation Services Managing Director Ed Kling, MAI, is a former Senior Vice President in the tax advisory group at Newmark Knight Frank and former owner of Real Valuation Group/RVG Commercial based in Chicago’s western suburbs. Ed has been an appraiserfor more than 35 years and has maintained the MAI designation from The Appraisal Institute since 2001.
Ed has extensive experience as an appraiser, expert witness, and property developer, and has created a special niche for the firm in the evaluation of nonstandard commercial properties.Hundreds of clients in the central Midwest and beyond have relied on Ed and his staff to provide them with solid, credible valuations. Ed is a certified general appraiser, licensed in the states of Illinois, Missouri, Indiana, Michigan and Wisconsin.
