Keith Stewart, MAI has over 25 years of extensive experience in preparing full narrative appraisal reportsforfinancing, property assessment appeal, estate, individual, litigation support, and public agency purposes. He has significant experience in providing expert testimony for property assessment appeals. Keith also has provided appraisal review services. In addition to appraising real estate, Keith has successfully marketed and sold residential and commercial properties throughout
the Chicago area. He has been involved in the sale of condominium, single-unit residences, mixed-use, retail, office, and industrial properties.
Keith joined Cornerstone/Caton Valuation Services in 2022, after being an appraiser and Vice President for Newmark for almost two years in 2019 and 2021. Keith had joined Newmark as part of a talent acquisition from the St. Charles office ofRVG Commercial where he had been since 2013. Prior to that, he had also been an appraiser for L.A. Duesterbeck & Associates, Inc. for a year in Wisconsin. Keith began his real estate career in 1997. The following year, he co-founded Stewart Commercial Real Estate Services, Inc., which specialized in the appraisal of retail, office, medical
office, industrial, apartment, mixed-use, restaurant, gas station, airport-related, automotive-related, hotels, and special purpose properties mostly throughout Illinois and Wisconsin, but also throughout the United States. Keith has also provided significant assistance in the expansion of the commercial information database for a leading data service provider for McHenry, Kane and Will Counties in Illinois.
