Mike Bauer has been an independent business owner for nearly four decades, with half of his career focused on real estate brokerage. His main objective is to help clients work toward achieving their goals and creating wealth through various real estate related avenues. His areas of expertise include retail properties, the restaurant and bar industry, land development, small industrial, and business brokerage. Through Mike’s representation and advisory roles, he has acquired a thorough understanding of the perspective of landlords, tenants, investors, restaurateurs, start-ups, buyers, sellers, developers, and municipalities.
Mike gauges his effectiveness as a broker and advisor by the success of his clients. He has represented several clients whose concepts have expanded to multiple locations including Tap House Grill, Market Creations, Tapville Social, and McBrides. One of Mike’s favorite sayings is that he never SOLD anything, but rather he has guided his clients in their decision-making process.
Mike is a married father of three, grandfather of nine; an avid cyclist, as well as a volunteer for charitable organizations including the Knights of Columbus and the Marie Wilkenson Food Pantry in Aurora. Mike is also an active member of his parish.
