Property Manager
Patrick (Pat) Campe joined Caton Property Management in 2021 as a Property Manager. He has been in commercial real estate since his teens, starting out working summers as a janitor in a high rise apartment building on Sheridan Road in Chicago. Along the way, Pat went from janitor to leasing agent in that high rise to landing his first commercial property manager position 5 years later inside an 800,000 square foot office building on State Street, downtown Chicago.
When that building was sold 3 years later, Pat was promoted to a mixed portfolio of properties where he was responsible for retail, office, and industrial buildings. In his new role, Pat produced annual operating budgets, tax and expense reconciliations and all aspects of property management on all buildings in his portfolio. Pat’s vastly diverse commercial property management career has given him a unique perspective and better understanding of the physical and mechanical side of the commercial buildings he managed.
In order to gain a better understanding of the financial side of real estate transactions, Pat decided he wanted to increase his knowledge further by obtaining what many consider a “masters” in real estate. He accomplished this by earning his Certified Commercial Investment Member, or CCIM designation in 2007.
Having had enjoyed both the brokerage and management sides of commercial real estate, Pat prides himself on his ability to provide a complete perspective on the properties he manages.
His commercial experience managing all types of properties for both Landlords and Tenants has given him a unique understanding. Pat knows how to work together with Landlords and Tenants to create the desired peak performance for each commercial asset he manages.
